BrightMinds opened its doors in 2014 and is the brainchild of Dr. Chrissie Capicoy, DMD, who is an active volunteer of Operation Smile Philippines, a nonprofit organization that provides free surgery for children with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other deformities. Initially, we wanted to offer speech therapy as aftercare for her surgery patients but soon saw the rising need for early intervention and therapy services for other diagnoses.
